Frequently Asked Questions About Adwords Consulting With Your Google Guy

Q: How does this whole thing work?
A: Usually someone emails me and asks to set up an appointment. I send them their pre-homework (don't worry, it's not difficult!). At the appointed time, we talk by phone and I set up your initial account and ads while we are talking. It's completely interactive and collaborative.

Q: What is required on my part?
A: You'll need a credit card to enter into Google (for your ad charges). It's best if you have a phone available where you can also be on the Internet (for our call). You just bring that and your knowledge of you, your clientele and your area.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: Most people pay me by credit card. You can also mail me a check.

Q: I find technology stressful? Will this be hard?
A: I've had feedback that the calls were fun and exciting, and that I brought great understanding and compassion to the work. I am first and foremost a communicator - technology to me is just a means to an end. And heck, I am a therapist. I know how to listen well and speak plainly.

Q: Why should I pick you?
A: Two big reasons. As a therapist myself, I've spent 4 years learning how to use the Internet to market a therapy practice. This ain't widgets we're selling! Also, my fees are clear. Some consultants charge you a percentage of your ads buys, or a monthly fee. In comparison to other Therapist Packages, my fee is very reasonable.

Q: How soon can I do this?
A: We are usually able to find a free block of time to do the call within a week or two.

Q: Who all do you work with?
A: Therapists, of course, but also psychologists, psychiatrists, personal coaches, acupuncturists, massage therapists, NDs, DCs - and I'm open to trying to help other small business people.

Q: Who won't you work with?
A: I will refuse work if it feels unethical or misleading, or of course if it's illegal. I also reserve the right to turn down other therapists inside of Seattle whom my own Google ads would compete with. (Just the ads - I know there are enough clients for everyone so I don't feel I am competing in general).

Q: Any last things words, Peter?
A: Yes. I believe in Abundance. I believe there are enough clients out there for each one of us. That we each have a special unique gift to bring to the world, and that we deserve to be rewarded for that gift. I believe that you often have to spend money to make money. And I believe I can help you tell the word about your services, putting ideal clients in touch with you, helping both you, them, and the world in the process. I usually say "Best", but for this I say Namaste! Peter
